Another Week...

Surgery was two weeks ago today and things are still improving. I have a surgical follow-up tomorrow and am only expecting positive things. I'd forgotten what it was like to be able to sleep an uninterupted seven or eight hours without waking.

It's Labor Day, the last summer holiday. It's been a good summer and we're looking forward to fall. Hopefully we'll be able to see some beautiful colors this season before things turn white, gray, and black.

Rex and I will celebrate our 30th. wedding anniversary on September 3rd. Being a second marriage for each of us, we feel it's an accomplishment. We've had our "moments", but all in all I wouldn't trade our relationship for anything. You have to take the bitter with the sweet, and hopefully the sweet wins out. It has for us.
